ALSF: Liberal students condemn actions of protesters against Julie Bishop at the University of Melbourne

The Australian Liberal Students’ Federation has condemned the actions of protesters against Julie Bishop following her appearance at the C20 summit, University of Melbourne.
“Jumping in front of a moving car displays disregard for self and others,” said ALSF’s spokesperson Matthew Lesh.
“The extreme left should be focusing on their studies during the exam period, not jumping in front of moving vehicles,” Mr Lesh said.
These actions follow reports that many senior ministers are now under Australian Federal Police protection due to ongoing threats.
“The left have shown a lack of willingness to respond constructively to the difficult budgetary situation and necessary educational reforms,” Mr Lesh said.
