Project Window
In the project window is where all your martial
for your video is kept (i.e. Video, Music, Pictures) this is where you
will find the video you just captured you just need to drag it down to
the timeline and you will be able to see the video and audio.
Step
Two: Cutting Tool
Your next step is to cut the video this is done using the
cutting tool (highlighted) in the bar. To use select the tool then using your causer place where you wish to cut the video on
your timeline and click if you wish to cut all your layers
hold down shift if not hover over the layer you want to cur with your mouse and click. If you do not
want to keep the separate clip you just created press delete on your
keyboard. (you must first select the clip this must be done with the top tool)

Three: Undo
If you want to undo anything you have done press Ctrl-Z.

Four: Timeline
Below is your timeline this is where you edit your video I would like
to point out some of the main parts to your timeline.
Step Five: Parts of the Timeline
First of all look at the bottom left
of the picture below there
is a small bar which you can move from side to side this allows you to zoom in and out of
your video timeline. At the top left you have 00:00:00:00 this tells you
the point of where your red line is at in the main area. Next to that there is a
long bar this gives you marks of the video length. On the left there are all
your tracks ( you can add more if needed by right clicking) these are
where you place video and audio. You can mute tracks by clicking the eye
or speaker logo you can also lock them by clicking the blank box next to
them.
