Part 1: Contacting Camera

First connect your camera to your computer this requires a cable cable and port make sure your camera is on playback mode. (if you need extra help with this step check your camera instruction guide)

Part 2: Opening Adobe

Next open Adobe Premiere Pro and select new project (do not worry about your settings). Now insert a project location (ie. C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\) and a project name. After clicking OK you will enter adobe Adobe Premiere Pro work space.

Part 3: Capturing Video

To capture video go to File-Capture... After entering the window first make sure your camera is working and contacted to the computer adobe will tell you this at the top of the view box it will show you the weather the camera is properly connected if so you will be able to record your video.

This is done by pressing the play button and then clicking at the same time clicking the round button with red inside on the left of the play button. You can stop and start the recording by clicking the round button if you wish to stop it play and also step the recording just click the stop button.
