Saving As
In this step I am going to go through all the formats you can save your file. First of all you should go into the save as box to d this go File - Save As....
There are two web page formats the first is a Single File Web Page .mht / .mhtml these will have your PowerPoint with all video music and effects. I do not recommend that through because it is a format only viewable on Internet Explore with other web browsers do not support this format. Now the web page format .htm / .html this as well as saving the a the web page also saves a file fodder which you have to upload if you wish to put this on the internet. Through this also works best on Internet Explore there is limited support on other browsers. I do not recommend you use these it is always best just to upload the .ppt file unless you are scared that people viewing this do not have PowerPoint.
The old formats are the PowerPoint 95
formats and the PowerPoint 97-2003 are not very useful because through they
save .ppt files they will not have the updated effects of 2003 this means
that most things will not work. You can save a file in 2003 format and it
will be viewable in older versions of PowerPoint without currant effects.
There is only one use of these formats it is if want to see what your
protection will look like on and old version of PowerPoint on your computer.

open the file to full screen
automatically.
Presentation For Review / Design Template
This format is just a clone of your main save file it is not a very useful one. A design template is used as a save file of a master slide. Inside the design box you can browse for these.
A power Point show allows you to save a .pps file this will just
The file type .ppa are PowerPoint adding's this is only used when you have made an adding's your self
Inside PowerPoint you can save an images of your slides these can be saved in GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIF, BMP, WMF and EMF formats. They all do the same job with saving your image files you can save currant slides or your whole presentation (this is done in a folder).
The outline is a text version of your presentation saved in .rtf format. This can be opened with word.
